Introduction

  Darbond® 2545 is one component, thixotropic viscosity, low strength anaerobic pipe thread sealant. It cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces.

Typical Properties

Good oil tolerance, can be used on the surface with slight oil contamination.Contains no fillers, and will not foul pipeline system.Used for sealing taper/taper threaded connectors of high pressure pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ideal for under M36.

 Typical Applications

Typically used for sealing and locking high hydraulic pressure power system (with tapered threaded connectors), under M36 tapered thread (NPT). It will not contaminate and jam hydraulic and pneumatic fittings, can be used on slightly oil contaminated surface.
